Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Note: This content is being finalised by our legal team. The sections below represent our intended policy and will be updated with binding language prior to commercial launch.

1. Who We Are

YES — Your Export Solutions — operates the globalexport.network platform. References to "YES", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the operator of the YES Platform. We act as a data controller in respect of personal data collected from Platform users.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data: (a) Account data — name, email address, job title, and password hash provided at registration; (b) Business profile data — company name, country, description, certifications, product listings, and other profile information you enter; (c) Usage data — pages visited, features used, search queries, deal activity, and message metadata (not message content); (d) Technical data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies; (e) Communications — support requests and any direct correspondence with our team; (f) Transaction data — deal values, order amounts, commission records, and payment information processed through our billing provider.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data to: operate and improve the Platform and its matching engine; facilitate connections and communications between Brands and Distributors; calculate and invoice commissions and subscription fees; verify business certifications and approve accounts; send transactional notifications (deal updates, messages, order confirmations); detect and prevent fraud and anti-bypass violations; comply with legal obligations; and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data on the following legal bases: (a) Performance of contract — data required to provide the Platform services you have signed up for; (b) Legitimate interests — analytics, fraud prevention, product improvement, and marketing to existing users, where these do not override your rights; (c) Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose data by applicable law; (d) Consent — for optional communications such as newsletters, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Sharing Your Data

We share data with: (a) Counterparties on the Platform — when a Brand and Distributor connect, limited profile data is shared between them as part of the matching process; (b) Service providers — cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements; (c) Legal authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights of YES or third parties. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. International Transfers

YES operates primarily from Southeast Asia and uses cloud infrastructure that may process data in multiple regions including Singapore, Australia, and the European Economic Area. Where we transfer data outside your country, we do so under appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to ensure equivalent protection.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for 7 years after closure, to meet legal and financial record-keeping obligations. Usage and analytics data is retained for up to 36 months. You may request earlier deletion subject to our legal retention obligations (see Section 9).

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the Platform to function (authentication sessions, security tokens) and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent login and core features from working.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to retention obligations); object to or restrict certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@globalexport.network. We will respond within 30 days. Users in the EEA also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed password storage (bcrypt), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law.

11. Children

The Platform is intended for business use by persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified by email and/or a Platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent version was published.
